Cue is a menu bar calendar app for macOS. It runs entirely on your Mac. There is no Cue server, account, analytics or tracking.
What Cue accesses
When you sign in with Google, Cue asks to see and edit your calendar events and to read your email address. It uses them to:
- show your meetings and remind you when they start,
- add, edit and reply to events when you ask it to,
- check free/busy times when you look for a meeting slot,
- suggest people you've met with recently,
- show which Google account you're signed in to.
Where your data goes
Your calendar goes only between your Mac and Google's servers. Cue doesn't send it anywhere else, share it, or sell it.
Cue keeps your Google sign-in token in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. It keeps calendar data in memory only and doesn't write it to disk.
Google API data
Cue's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Choose Sign out of Google in Cue to delete the token and revoke its access. You can also remove Cue at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
